Our 2 most commonly asked questions:
Where can we store our luggage while on the tour?
Once we have left Shinjuku station there will not be any place to store your extra baggage. Options for luggage storage include, coin lockers at Shinjuku or Gotenba station, hotel baggage storage services or sending by 'takkyubin' (postal service) to your next destination. The postal service in Japan is extremely cheap and efficient--it will cost about $18 per bag to next day shipping to most places in Japan, which is a small price to pay for not having to lug your bags around.
Want to meet the group somewhere other than Tokyo?
We offer the option of starting and/or ending your tour in Gotenba, which is a city right at the base of Mt. Fuji. If you're headed South/West after your Fuji trip (to Kyoto, Osaka, etc) or if you're looking to go to Hakone, it would make much more sense for you to select this drop off rather than go all the way back to Tokyo and then come back out. The same is true from the opposite direction--if you're coming up from the South/West to join your tour, it makes the most sense to meet the group at Gotemba Station. Depending on your tour, the pick up and drop off time will vary. Please see our Gotemba pick up page here for information on the meeting time at Gotemba Station. You can also see how the pick up time fits in with the tour itinerary on the two day tour itinerary or off season tour itinerary for more details on the pick up/drop off location as well as time.
