Contact Info for All Fuji Mountain Huts

The mountain huts on Mt. Fuji were originally built as emergency shelters and exist to this day as shelters from harsh mountain conditions, offering simple dorm-style accommodation. Because the mission of the huts is to provide safety and shelter to as many hikers as possible, it is not possible to pay for extra space. The huts provide the essential shelter and food you need to reach Mt. Fuji's summit.

Since many of the huts do not offer online booking or even an English website, we recommend booking your hut through our partner Japan Mountain Huts, which offers English booking as well as customer service. Use the red buttons below to secure your spot!

A note on the "stations": Each trail is divided into stations - the trailhead is 5th station and the summit is 10th station. The elevations of these stations differ between trails, however, and most importantly, multiple huts can be at the same station, old and new versions of a station, or even fractions of a station, like "8.5". Don't be surprised if you start seeing more fractions the closer you get to the summit!
