Fuji Mountain Guides strives to provide clientele with the safest, most enjoyable and unforgettable tour experience while bridging the gap between foreigners and the local Japanese.
At Fuji Mountain Guides, our number one priority is safety during your climb. There are significant elements of risk in alpine tours such as rock fall, slipping, high winds, and severe cold that can be managed, but not eliminated. Fuji Mountain Guides practices safe alpine travel techniques and conservative decision making to help minimize these risks while you climb. If you have any medical conditions that may put you at risk or impede your performance at high altitude please consult a physician before considering a climb up Mt. Fuji.
Fuji Mountain Guides is committed to preserving the natural environment in Japan. With the number of people that climb Mt. Fuji on the rise, outdoor ethics is more important than ever. As such we commit ourselves to accomplishing Leave No Trace principals. All the garbage we bring in is packed out and our tours stick to marked trails so as to not escalate the already occurring erosion on Mt. Fuji.
