COVID-19 Booking Policy  

​​Here at FMG HQ, we understand that due to continuing developments of the coronavirus (COVID-19), you may be experiencing some concern and uncertainty with regards to your 2022 summer/fall travel plans to Japan. As the situation develops and we encounter hardship together as a global community, FMG continues in its offering of a flexible cancellation policy. 

For all 2022 Mt. Fuji tour bookings, regardless of any travel bans in place, the following cancellation policy will apply: 

• Free cancellation (fully refundable) of the 2-day Mt. Fuji tour for any reason applies up to May 31st, 2022.

From June 1st 2022, all bookings are subject to our standard terms and conditions or by our COVID-19 travel ban policy (see below).​ 

COVID-19 travel ban policy: If a COVID-19 travel ban is in effect, prohibiting international travel to and from Japan or to and from your home country, or if a mandatory quarantine is required after arrival into Japan or upon return to your home country:

• Up to 14 days prior to your Mt. Fuji tour start date the following applies: 
  • ​ You may cancel and receive a refund minus an admin fee of ¥5,000 per person;
  • or you may receive a 100% trip credit towards a future Mt. Fuji climb, with no admin fee applied. 
• The COVID-19 travel ban policy is only valid up to 14 days prior to your Mt. Fuji tour start date. This is true, even if an outbound/inbound travel ban or quarantine is put in place less than 14 days before your Mt. Fuji tour start date. 

Cancellations requested less than 14 days before the tour start date will have the standard cancellation policy applied. Please find our cancellation policy and full terms of agreement here.
