Where can we store our luggage while on the tour?
Once we have left Tochomae and Gotenba station there will NOT be any place to store your extra baggage. Options for luggage storage include, coin lockers at Shinjuku or Gotenba station, hotel baggage storage services or sending by 'takkyubin' (postal service) to your next destination. The postal service in Japan is extremely cheap and efficient--it will cost about $18 per bag for next day shipping to most places in Japan, which is a small price to pay for not having to lug your bags around. ​You can find more information on Japan's top luggage delivery service here. 
Want to meet the group somewhere other than Tokyo?
We offer the option of starting and/or ending your tour in Gotenba, which is a city right at the base of Mt. Fuji. If you're headed South/West after your Fuji trip (to Kyoto, Osaka, etc) or if you're looking to go to Hakone, it would make much more sense for you to select this drop off rather than go all the way back to Tokyo and then come back out. The same is true from the opposite direction--if you're coming up from the South/West to join your tour, it makes the most sense to meet the group at Gotemba Station. Depending on your tour, the pick up and drop off time will vary. Where does the tour leave from and how can I get there?

All Fuji tours depart in front of Tochomae Station (pronounced "Toe-cho-ma-é) on the Toei Oedo line. How do you get here? Check out our access page here which has very thorough directions on how to get to the meet up point. We'll meet right in front of the only ticket machines inside this station.
Mt. Fuji area pick ups are provided at Gotenba train station. For more information on the Gotenba pick up, view our Gotenba pick up page.
